Beware of rip-offs. Wrong bills 1. Fish was frozen and thawed. Not fresh as promised. (Similar to "real artificial leather") 2. Check the invoice carefully. Items not ordered are added to the invoice. Corona failures are ripped off.

A very beautiful place, near several picturesque lakes and a river. Very tasty fish, reasonable prices. I recommend for a "tasty meal" and then "walk".

Delicious fish soup, the best potato salad ever and fine pikeperch fillet Müllerin Art (= natural, with onions) at a fair price! It still tastes as delicious as it did 44 years ago when my grandma took me to the Rott Island, to the Waldfrieden restaurant, for the first time!

Delicious meal. Uncomfortable atmosphere. 4 waiters sit in the dining room and talk loudly. No relaxed eating possible.

Restaurant in a very nice location. You will be served quickly and in a friendly manner. The fish is very good.

Without a doubt, we drove back here for the first time after the lockdown. According to the new order, everything at a distance .. But the service, the wait staff and the quality of the food has not changed. Everything without exception SUPER. we had fried fish and a large pikeperch Müllerin Art, with two mixed salads and of course two large cold beers. Completely satisfied and still absolutely recommendable.

Long-established family-run fish restaurant. The menu is good. No matter whether for big or small, it is appealing for everyone. The environment is very nice. Located directly on the Rhine. After a good meal, the digestive tract can be stimulated with a leisurely stroll along the Rhine.

A very nice restaurant. The fried fish were great and the potato salad is some of the best I've ever tasted. The taste has not changed in the last 40 years. Keep it up.

Beautiful location between the Rhine and the Old Rhine, very nice to go for a walk. Fish dishes good, staff ok too. I can recommend it with a clear conscience!

Nicely located in the countryside. Lots of fish on the menu, few alternatives for non-fish eaters, my pikeperch was good for that. I am very pleased. Will definitely come back with a visit.

Nice ambience, but unfortunately super crowded. Sure, the owners can not help it, but it still bothered me to have meals at a table with unknown people (should have best reserved). However, the food is incredibly delicious. The potato salad is unbeatable and the price / performance ratio is also acceptable. We would love to come back.

Price performance, in my view, great. Taste and service too. What more do you want. However, a footpath to the restaurant is to be put back. And you should not go to the wrong restaurant. There are two localities on the island of Rott. We both had the fish plate. Which includes 3 different fillets. Just the parrotfish and the zander were a poem. The third, slightly more solid fish, was really tender and juicy. Everything tasted fresh and was great. We were well fed without appetizers. The way the fish are prepared are selectable from several variants. Depending on your own taste.
